Cain Marko, also known as Juggernaut, is a Marvel Comics character whose first appearance was in The X-Men #12 (July 1965). He is a powerful and destructive force, driven by the mystical Crimson Gem of Cyttorak.
Cain, the stepbrother of Charles Xavier (Professor X), discovered the gem in a hidden temple. Upon touching it, he was imbued with unstoppable power, transforming him into the Juggernaut. This power makes him virtually invulnerable and grants him immense strength, allowing him to overcome nearly any obstacle. As Juggernaut 2nd Gen, Marko's powers continue to be a source of immense danger and a formidable challenge for heroes and villains alike.
The Crimson Gem of Cyttorak empowers Marko to become an avatar of destruction, leaving a path of devastation in his wake. His battles with the X-Men and other heroes have shaped the Marvel Universe, making him a noteworthy anti-hero.
